Following up on the recent, lively discussion that resulted from my "Women in Ministry" post, I came across a sermon by Dr. David Sebastian, Dean of the Anderson School of Theology. This brief writing provides a good overview of the some key issues and scriptural passages at the center of the current debate, and is now an included resource for the "Cultivate" Goal comprising the Church of God strategic plan. It is worth reading.

(This was just days after the death of Gil Stafford, and the three rings of the bell were his trademark signal that worship has begun, that the trinitarian God was present among the worshipers.)
